Helping Our Community to Flourish

Trudi Anderson

Workplace health and safety are about many things, including employee mental health and wellbeing.

I am a North Queenslander born and bred having been raised on a farm in Bowen. I completed my Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) degree at James Cook University in Townsville and secured a role as a Business Banking graduate.

After spending almost 15 years in various banking roles in North Queensland including Agribusiness Banking Manager in Ayr and Senior Business Banking Manager Townsville I felt it was time for a change and returned to my farming background to complete a contract with a local sugar marketing firm as their Grower Pricing Projects Officer. Following completion of my contract with them I returned to the financial services industry. My current role is about risk mitigation for clients across all areas of their business and I have a focus on promoting Workplace Health and Safety which incorporates Mental Health Workshops, First Aide Training and Employee Wellness programs.

My personal time is spent enjoying the NQ lifestyle with my partner and our daughter. We love to visit my 'home' town of Bowen and take mini breaks to Magnetic Island, Mission Beach and The Whitsundays. We love the lifestyle that North Queensland offers. It is the perfect place to raise a family.
