Helping Our Community to Flourish

Dr Lynore Geia is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman born and raised on Palm Island, and an experienced health professional in Indigenous health on State, Territory, Federal and International levels.

Lynore has extensive practice in rural and remote health; is a strong advocate for Aboriginal community controlled health and is committed to developing effective research and education that impacts on health praxis. This has led to a passion for working with community to develop support strategies to strengthen Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander youth health and families through best practice.
